A flat towel never breaks anything. A standing one lands on a single point and drives through the layer beneath it.

The number on a towel is what it weighs. Spread that weight over a whole row and it rests; land it on one point and the same weight drives straight through the layer beneath. Weight over about 30 on a single cell breaks. Water doubles the number.

Nothing you have stacked is stuck there. PULL takes a towel back out of the pile and everything above it drops into the space. You get three pulls, and three more every ten levels.

Look at the line above the room. The next towel slides along it, and it comes off wherever it is when the towel before it lands. Where the next one enters is not luck, it is your timing: hold a towel one beat longer and the next one starts where you want it.

A sock arrives alone and takes its whole row with it, full or not. The row still pays what it weighs, so a sock dropped on a thin pile clears almost nothing. Dig a well and drop it into the heavy row at the bottom.

Every so often the laundry floods. The pipes shudder for a second and a half, then for half a minute towels fall half again as fast and every row you close is worth three. Wait for it, and be ready when it comes.

Cloth standing in the water slides toward the drain. That does not remove holes, it pushes them together. Four scattered gaps become one gap four wide, and a gap four wide is one a Bath towel can close.

Every ten levels the van pulls up and the SUPPLY DROP opens. Points are the only thing you spend, so what you buy is what you gave up saving. Longer cycles pay for themselves; a calmer drop buys you thinking time; a deeper chute lets you plan two towels ahead. Prices climb every time you buy the same thing again.
